Updates to the Common Projects advice pages on the Planning Portal website
Several legislative updates were made regarding permitted development in August and September 2020. We have amended the advice accordingly within each of the Common Projects on our website that were affected by this legislation change.
In addition, we have included a further resource to the Common Projects section: Additional Storeys. The advice featured here details when extending a house upwards is considered permitted development, when a planning application to the LPA must be made, and aspects of Building Regulations that may need to be considered for this type of project.
