Watch the #Plantalk webinar: How we can make the process of planning and building easier?

by on June 30, 2020

In case you missed it, recently Scott Alford, the Head of Business Development here at the Planning Portal, joined Peter Kemp from the Greater London Authority to take part in a #plantalk webinar, focusing on ‘How we can make the process of planning and building easier?’. #plantalk videos are an online resource, created by the Royal Town Planning Institute (RTPI) and Greater London Authority to help connect the planning and building sector and update listeners about different areas within it.

Scott gave a 20-minute presentation, focusing on the history of the Planning Portal, our principles as an organisation and an overview of current stats such as planning and building control applications per month, giving valuable insight into the planning and building industry. The talk was then broken down into three major areas, each focusing on a fundamental area of the business’ refreshed objectives, what we’ve done to improve our services within this area and what we hope to do in the future. There were many new concepts mentioned that are being pursued so it would be good to get your thoughts and feedback using the comments below or email communications@planningportal.co.uk.

You can watch the webinar here.

During the presentation, Scott also discusses our new Market Insight Report, providing planning and building control application data and giving an imperative insight into the industry, which has never been more important as we face the unprecedented times of COVID-19. The report for June is available here.
