Day 1 of our Spring Conference is all about Urban Regeneration

by on April 5, 2022

Urban regeneration can bring back life and prosperity to our towns and cities, and with the impact of COVID on town centres in particular this has never been more important.

We have a packed agenda!
Amy Harhoff, Corporate Director of Regeneration and Growth from Durham County Council will be giving our keynote speech.

Amy is responsible for the design and delivery of a transformational economic strategy and programme across the county utilising strategic investment and an ambitious policy agenda.

As a member of Durham County Councils senior leadership team Amy is driven to achieving more and better employment and homes across the county underpinned by a £3bn regeneration investment programme provided by the Levelling Up Fund. She will be presenting some of these insights at 10am Monday 25 April.

This will be followed by a panel discussion with Helen Fadipe. MRTPIJudith Atkinson and Mike Kiely.
Our first breakout session will be hosted by Local Partnerships LLP alongside TerraQuest’s Julius Rwegasira.

TerraQuest Solutions are working with Local Partnerships to facilitate better the acceleration and delivery of housing development in the public sector, by using data and technology, to meet Local Authorities’ regeneration and housing growth objectives, and ensure the ever-increasing demands for affordable housing are met.

This session will provide further insight to how Local Partnerships’ expertise and TerraQuest’s innovative solutions can help to transform the housing sector to better serve our communities.

You are still able to register to join us for the four-day virtual event by booking your place here: https://springconf22.planningportal.co.uk/index/registration.
