Planning Portal team to cycle Cheddar Gorge for charity

by on January 28, 2020

Five members of the Planning Portal team will be cycling a gruelling 69-mile route over Cheddar Gorge, to raise money for charity.

Ben Price, Graeme Kirk, Ian Foster, Neil Davies and Scott Alford from the team in Bristol will be taking on the challenge in April. To get everyone involved we would like to invite you to suggest a worthy cause they should cycle in aid of.

You can suggest a charity by completing this online form:

The route will begin and end at Glastonbury football ground (Abbey Moor Stadium) on 19 April and will include a mixture of flat areas, short sharp climbs and the long and steady slog up to Cheddar Gorge.

Starting on a gentle flat route, the course will become gradually varied and at mile 53 the team will begin a demanding 600-foot climb for around a mile before continuing up to 900ft over a further six miles!

There will be further updates to follow on our chosen beneficiary and how to donate, as well as details of incentives to encourage you or your business to donate to the charity.

To be the shirt sponsor alongside the charity and feature in social media posts, blog articles and newsletters please contact Graeme Kirk on 0117 403 3372 or email graeme.kirk@planningportal.co.uk.
