The topic of ‘delivery’ will be front and centre at National Planning Conference 2023

by on September 7, 2023

The key topic at this year’s National Planning Conference is going to be delivery.

Our profession faces many challenges in this ever-shifting world and we want to use this year’s conference to focus on how we can deliver substantial solutions to these challenges, so our sector can continue to thrive into the future.

Expect to hear from experts on a range of topics around delivery, including the delivery of homes, of sustainable infrastructure, delivering with communities, delivering internationally, delivering with politicians and using digital and data to deliver.

Once again, this year the National Planning Conference will also welcome a panel of Chief Planners from across our nations, to share their knowledge and expertise on delivering planning reforms. We will also get the chance to hear the young planner’s perspective on how we can deliver for 2070.

In the short video below, Sarah Chilcott, Managing Director of Planning Portal, and Victoria Hills, Chief Executive of the Royal Town Planning Institute provide some insight into what we can expect from this year’s conference, including the sessions they are most looking forward to.

We will share more details around this year’s National Planning Conference sessions in the coming days and weeks.

In the meantime, you can find out more about the programme and speakers for this year’s National Planning Conference, as well as booking your place, by visiting the National Planning Conference website.
