What are you looking at? – 250,000 pages that’s what
Another mini milestone passed. I’m sat on the train on my way to Gormenghast (head office) and noticed that my little blog has just recently passed 250,000 views.
The most popular topics appear to be architecture and greener planning.
Thanks for the eyeballs and the comments. Keep ’em coming and I’ll keep blathering.
It is not only Architecture or the Local Planning Authority, there are many like me who prepare Planning and Building Regulation Drawings/Plans based on of 40 years Design/Detail Working Drawings for Build/Construction experience much of which comes from my original Draughtsmanship skills/Architectural Technician at the London Borough of Bexley and working as the Clerk of Works on the Met Office New HQ at the time in Exeter and the Welsh Assembly in Cardiff. The UK still needs traditional experience and Design with the tremendous support it now has from the Planning Portal…Keep the good work up
Hi Barry
Thanks for the feedback. I’m aware my audience is diverse and multi faceted and i am very grateful for it.
Unfortunately tapping away on my phone as I am is not condusive to lengthy oscar speeches, but I love you all equally!
Thanks for your quick reply.
Do you have any contact with one of my previous bosses David John Ex Chief PLanning Officer at London Bor’ Bexley?
I’m glad that I’m not the only one who blathers, or am I getting confused with blithering. Yes, on reflection others inform me I’m a blithering something or other who keeps going on about the fact that without effective enforcement all planning is aspirational. Sadly, planning enforcement together with its even more slightly more glamourous planning compliance proactive arm isn’t an attractive subject for comment. Perhaps that’s why I blther so much.
