Tomorrow, Thursday 6th August, I’ll be presenting some interesting insights from our Planning Market Insight Reports where we have analysed trends and reviewed the impact that COVID-19 has had upon planning application submission over recent months.

Our previous reports showed a decline in applications across the months of April and May, with an 18.5% and 14% decrease in submissions respectively when compared to the same months in 2019. However, there has been an huge resurgence in applications for the month of June, with an increase of 21% compared to 2019 that’s continued into July.
