Hear from Young Planners at the National Planning Conference 2023
The National Planning Conference, which will be held on 9 & 10 November at the Birmingham Conference and Events Centre, will welcome industry-leading experts to talk about the most cutting-edge topics in the world of planning today, with a focus on how we can deliver, both now and into the future. Among many other sessions, it will also offer a unique opportunity to hear the young planner’s perspective on the industry.
It’s a must-attend event that offers ample opportunities to learn, share ideas and network with leaders and thinkers from across the built environment industries.
On the morning of the second day of conference, we will hold a Young Planners’ soapbox panel session, chaired by Pooja Agrawal of Public Practice . The panel will focus on ‘Delivering for 2070’.
Pooja will be joined by Bethany Rance of East Suffolk Council, Jo Rogers from Ethical Partnerships and Joshua Singh of Sandwell Council for this engaging discussion.
In addition to this, we are delighted to announce that Corrin Wendall of Youth Engagement Planning will be giving an exclusive keynote speech and Q&A session focusing on her extensive experience working with young people across the USA to bring youth perspective and involvement to planning.
Both sessions are set to be must-attends, not only for young planners but for anyone invested in the built environment industries!
