Enforcement notice issued over unauthorised coal extraction
The Coal Authority has issued an enforcement notice to the operators of the Ffos-Y-Fran coal mine in Merthyr Tydfil over a breach of their operating licence after it was found that coal mining had been taking place beyond the agreed licensed area.
