Planning Portal join UK Business Council for Sustainable Development
Planning Portal are delighted to announce that we have been accepted as members of the UK Business Council for Sustainable Development (UKBCSD).
UKBCSD represents leaders and innovators from across the built environment sector who share the goal of securing a more sustainable world for everybody. We are incredibly proud to now be part of this remarkable roster.
We recently had the pleasure of engaging in discussions with other members of UKBCSD at the Beyond Net Zero Pavillion at UKREiiF (UK’s Real Estate Investment and Infrastructure Forum).
This event explored opportunities for change and showcased some great examples of good practice where it has emerged across the country.
Planning Portal fully support UKBCSD’s mission to “Collaborate across sectors, uniting voices and values for a more sustainable Britain” – In an ever-changing world where new ecological concerns are consistently arising, it is now more important than ever to make sure the environment is a top priority for us all.
We want to do all we can to promote sustainability within the planning and building industries. This new partnership helps us to do just that.
UKBCSD value actions over words, which is a crucial point when it comes to addressing environmental concerns. We face very real challenges and threats to our environment, and it is important to ensure real, tangible steps are being taken towards achieving the positive change that we need.
We now look forward to working together with other members of UKBCSD to help embed and emphasise sustainability at the heart of the planning process.
