How can Retrofitting help us meet sustainability targets? Find out at the National Planning Conference 2022

by on October 24, 2022

With sustainability an increasingly pressing issue for developers, retrofitting has never been more relevant to Planners than it is today.

We have assembled a panel of industry experts to talk on this important topic at the National Planning Conference 2022.

If the UK is to meet its net zero targets by 2050, most existing buildings will need to be upgraded. This session will explore what is already being done, and what more is needed to deliver on the UK’s SDG commitments.

The talk will feature Joanne Patterson, Professorial Research Fellow at the Welsh School of Architecture, as chair. We will also welcome Shaun Bennett, Director of Property at Derby Homes, Ellie Horwitch-Smith, Assistant Director at Route to Zero, Richard Davidson, Director at Willmott Dixon, and Elizabeth McCrone, Director of Heritage at Historic Environment Scotland.

If you haven’t already done so, you can book your tickets for the National Planning Conference by visiting the National Planning Conference Website. But hurry, tickets are selling fast!
