It’s the start of a new year, how do the statistics compare?

This month’s report looks at the fluctuations in application numbers of individual authorities, as well as applications by type and variance in planning application fees. 

• 48,625 applications were submitted in England and Wales throughout January 2022.
• This is a 10% reduction in comparison to the figures seen in January 2021. 

January 2022 saw a total of 16,522 Householder and related applications submitted.
