Last year Portal applicants saved more than 8,000 tonees of CO2 by submitting their applications online.
The same as 40,000 trees could absorb in their lifetimes.

Its a good idea but how come you do not allow all applications to be submitted via the Portal – for example Non Material Amendments?
We’re working on it, NMAs are on our list.
Excellent! fandabbydozey!!! now all we need to do is get the LPA’s to stop printing all the application paperwork out, sort of carbon offsetting in the wrong direction!
exactly! the council just prints it out anyway…..but hopefully not 4 times…..two steps forward and one step back is still one step forward. You set the pace!
